Here at the finish line of the Gotland Runt, race managers from the Royal Swedish Yacht Club (KSSS) are taking elapsed times of the first finishers in the ORC Double Handed World Championship.

At 21:54 CET, all 21 Class A entries who raced the course have finished, led by the first finisher: the Shogun 50 Ladykiller 4 (SWE) being raced by Anna Drougge and Martin Angsell. In provisional corrected time results the class leader is ZEUS+ (SWE), a Z30+ raced by Anders Dahlsjo and Martin Stromberg, followed by JOULE (SWE), a J/122 raced by Marcus Osterberg and Henrik Borg. In third is Frederik Rydin and Johan Tuvstedt's J/121 JOLENE (SWE), who is also the top Corinthian entry in the class.

In Class B three DH teams racing JPK 10.30's are in all three podium positions. Two are from Germany - Jonas Hallberg and Till Barth's HINDEN in first - and Michael Hoefgen and Max Gurgel's LIGHTWORKS in second. In third is the Finnish team of Jens Krogell and Ville-Veikko Miskanen who sailed ALMAVIDA. The top Corinthian team is in fourth place: Staffan Larsson and Magnus Wegrell's Arcona 340 IMBRUGLIA. These results are provisional because numerous teams have yet to be scored.

Among the teams in Class C, there is only one finisher recorded at 21:54: TEAM PRO4U (SWE), a modified First 36.7 raced by Patrik Forsgren and Joakim Hoppe. A more finishers arrive in Sandhamn the race scorers will record and upload finishes on the Official Notice Board.

The westerly wind is forecast to remain strong and allow more finishers to get to the finish quickly tonight, and its expected most should be finished by dawn.

The ORC DH fleet positions are being tracked in real time by the TracTrac System.
