After leaving the wonderful location of Genoa yesterday, the Beneteau Figaro 3 fleet headed towards the crystal clear waters of Sardinia for the first offshore leg of the round-Italy tour.

Unfortunately, after approximately 27 hours of sailing, the Race Committee was forced to cancel the offshore race, because of steady high pressure and complete lack of wind in the Mediterranean.

After having unsealed the engines, the crews will reach La Maddalena, where Waszp and Wing Foils started training and racing yesterday.

At the end of the tour, the overall winner will be determined with the team that has the best overall results in the three disciplines: offshore, Wing Foil and Kite.
