Ocean Alexander 28 Explorer world debut at Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show

Alexander Marine Australia, will be hosting the highly anticipated World Debut of the Ocean Alexander 28 Explorer at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, the Southern Hemisphere's premier marine event, held 19 - 22 May.

Expanding on the popular Revolution series, and through participating in focus group discussions as to the needs of Ocean Alexander owners and the market, the Explorer series takes the incredible interior volume and accommodations Ocean Alexander is renowned for and elevates it with impressive exterior amenities. These remarkable yachts expand the exterior space for socializing and entertaining family and friends, and are designed to bring a multitude of toys with you to maximize exploring opportunities on long journeys to exotic locations.

The Ocean Alexander range now spans three model series - Revolution, Legend, and Explorer. The various models have proven popular with boat owners globally as worldwide demand for larger luxury motor yachts continues. Like many in the industry, Ocean Alexander enjoyed a healthy and robust 2021 with double digit growth, which continued with the same momentum in 2022, and sold out of most models well into 2023 and beyond.

Alexander Marine Australia dealer principal and director Todd Holzapfel says the cruising waters around Australia and New Zealand provide some of the most beautiful yet often challenging sea conditions anywhere in the world.

Her striking exterior features an oversize swim platform, complete with a starboard side fold down to maximise space for water sports activities. Once indoors you will note her guest accommodation layout includes an on-deck master layout, with oversized glazing a prominent feature on each of the vessel's various decks.

The Ocean Alexander 28 Explorer boasts four lower deck guest cabins and four bathrooms, plus aft triple cabin crew accommodation. While the significant volume added by the vertical bow allows for a walk-around island bed and walk-in robe in the VIP cabin. There is also a spacious saloon area, including separate lounging and formal dining spaces, supersize saloon glazing, a huge penthouse-inspired sky lounge entertainment area, wet bar, BBQ grill and Jacuzzi!

The oversized swim platform offers owners and guests incredible exterior lounge space and storage for a multitude of water sports, exploration gear, tenders and PWCs.
