VETUS-Maxwell will demonstrate the capabilities of its latest electric propulsion solution to visitors at this year's Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.

For the first time at the Australia exhibition, an operational VETUS E-LINE system display will be up and running on the Booth. It will be linked and controlled by a multifunction display (MFD) to showcase the ease of compatibility for onboard integration purposes.

The compact and efficient 48V E-LINE range enables silent, environmentally friendly cruising with exceptional manoeuvring capabilities, with full control enabled by VETUS's Active Electronic Braking. Available in three models with output power of 5 kW to 10 kW, the system packages are ideal as standard shaft-driven in-board diesel engine replacements for re-power projects and for new builds.

The E-LINE motor is equipped with a smart, water-cooled 48V controller, developed specially for electric boating, enabling the user to charge the battery bank with a 24V battery charger.

VETUS supplies a 7-inch multifunction display for NMEA2000 electric propulsion. Using the VETUS CANverter, the V-CAN line can be connected to a NMEA2000 CAN-BUS line.

Also at the show, the VETUS-Maxwell team will introduce the new NOSKID series of boat flooring. Expanding the VETUS range of high-grip deck material, NOSKID is ideal for boat owners looking for that classic teak look, without the associated costs and maintenance. It consists of 6mm, closed-cell structure EVA foam plates with 3M self-adhesive backing which are trimmable, easy to install and comfortable to stand on. Available in birch, black and natural-teak look, NOSKID provides exceptional non-slip properties in all conditions and is highly resistant to sunlight and seawater.

Troy Goodwin-Smith, Sales Manager, VETUS-Maxwell Pty Ltd, said: "Sanctuary Cove is always a fantastic opportunity for us to talk about the full range of our product line and demonstrate our latest innovative technology to new and current customers. With interest in electric propulsion continuing to grow, we are particularly looking forward to showing visitors our working E-LINE system - an ideal solution for any boat owner looking for an environmentally friendly system which is easy to install and maintain. The VETUS bow thrusters are another highlight on the booth and we are keen to explain to boaters why they are the best quality solution, offering significant benefits when compared to conventional thrusters. From electric propulsion to thrusters, new NOSKID decking and a range of Maxwell Anchoring products, we can guarantee that all our equipment is created to make life easier onboard for our customers."

The VETUS-Maxwell 2022/2023 product catalogue will be provided free of charge to boat show visitors to Booth 101-103, containing a wealth of information on marine installations.
