Champagne conditions greeted the Topper sailors at WPNSA this weekend when just under 50 sailors took to the water for a coaching weekend.

The 4.2 Topper Team led by Alistair Dickson, and assisted by Max Todd, ran the coaching weekend for the 4.2 Topper Team. This group of 12 sailors have taken part in 5 coaching weekends, in various locations, over the winter and have worked hard to improve their racing skills.

Also on the water, were the sailors from the 5.3 & 6.4 Topper Team, led by Sally Dugdale and supported by her son, James. After taking part in 6 training weekends over the winter, the Team were keen to show the new skills learnt over the winter.

25 sailors were also invited to take part in coaching run by Helena Lucas, Tim Ellis and Charlotte Bonella. These sailors came from all across the country to take part in the coaching.

Martin Copper, chair of ITCA, said "it was great to see so many sailors out on the water over the weekend and I hope to see them all compete at Plas Heli next month at the GJW Direct National Series Coastal Championships (NS4)."
