Why booking early this year is more important than ever

For many people, this summer will be the first holiday they'll have in a long time, and like most travel companies, we have indeed experienced a surge in bookings for this season. This is of course very welcome news for Wildwind, but it also means that for many weeks, rooms and flights are already starting to be in short supply.

Because we bulk buy our flights from London well ahead of the season, we have so far been able to avoid a price increase. However, once our initial flight allocation runs out, we have to buy additional flights in the market, the cost of which we have to pass onto you and at this moment, we are seeing some crazy pricing, such as an EasyJet flight from Gatwick on the May half term bank holiday which, even without baggage, comes to over £1000 return - and yes, you did read that right!

As a small independent company, we will always go the extra mile to find the best alternatives to avoid such exorbitant, and for many people prohibitive additional costs, but the key is to contact us as soon as possible otherwise we may not be able to find a suitable solution for your needs.

Special offer

May flights from Bristol and Birmingham available at no additional cost.

Not just does booking early pay off, so does travelling early! You'll benefit from our low season pricing, you'll find our centre to be a tad bit quieter and at this moment, we can offer a choice of flights from London, Birmingham or Bristol without the usual supplement! This is true only for the first 3 weeks of May and, of course, while supply lasts.

And with the beautiful island of Lefkas averaging nine hours of sunshine a day throughout May there's never been a better time to get away.

Special offer for solo travellers

If you're planning to travel by yourself, you'll be pleased to know that May traditionally brings our Solo Traveller Appreciation Weeks, with no single room supplement in the first two weeks, and a half price single room supplement for the week thereafter.

With our centre in Vassiliki opening in less than a week we wish you a wonderful summer and look forward to seeing you.

Best wishes,
Simon, Joe, John and the entire Wildwind team
