The Freestyle Pro Tour is ecstatic to share the confirmation of the 2022 EFPT in Vieste, Italy! This will be the first time riders return to the fantastic spot since the outbreak of the pandemic, and the first time that the Women's division will compete there as well!

Between the 9th and 12th of June our athletes will battle it out for a total of €15.000,- in prize money. The event will also be preceded by our Rookie Camp with Dieter van der Eyken (Severne). Read on to get all the details about the exciting and sunny event and check out the highlights from 2019:

The second event of this season takes place in Vieste, a spot right on the Gargnano National Park in Puglia. With sandy beaches and a surf community of all kinds of watersports, the summer season is sure to be ushered in properly at the Vieste event! The spot works on thermal winds guaranteeing many windy days during the warmer months - perfect for freestyle action!

Pre-registration is now open

Registration is now opened for the 2022 EFPT Spiagga Lunga Vieste! Pre-registration ends on the 12th of May. You can pre-register here. In light of recent events, we would like to ask Russian athletes to refrain from registering until further notice as there are ongoing discussions with local partners.

Rookies Camp

Vieste will also host one of our Rookie Camps for the first time this year. On the 4th and 5th of June, headed by Dieter van der Eyken, the camp will be a crash course for aspiring freestyle competitors. Participating will get you up to speed with heat strategies, flag sequences and overall move improvements! Big prizes for participants and the registration opening will be announced soon! Read more about Rookie Camps here.

Calendar updates

The EFPT Geneva event has been moved to the 14th-18th of September due to clashes with other events. We are excited to return for some of the best tow-in action we have ever seen, as well as hopefully some wind for the Foilstyle discipline!

Stay tuned for more exciting announcements, as we are about to kick off the first EFPT event of 2022 on the 27th of April in Austria!
