Cleveland Race Week (CRW) has become one of the largest sailing regattas on Lake Erie and one of the largest in the country.

The annual event, celebrating its 41st year, attracts hundreds of boats from across the United States and Canada. Nationally, Cleveland Race Week ranks as one of the largest sailing events based on number of sailing classes. Founded in 1980, CRW has developed into 10 days of racing and special events. Based at Edgewater Yacht Club, the regatta draws over 1,800 national and international participants.

Interest continues to grow for this year's event that runs from June 17th to 26th for a variety of fleets and boats. There are several notable events:

  • June 17-19- One design weekend- for J/24s, J/70s, & J/105s
  • June 23-26- Offshore weekend- various offshore J's, like J/111s, J/120s, J/105s, J/34, J/35, J/36, etc
  • June 23-26- J/70 Corinthian Nationals
For J/111 sailors, this is a great event to sail in because it provides the team good practice for the upcoming J/111 North Americans that will be held in the same waters off the Cleveland waterfront. Come enjoy the fun and check out the world-famous Rock & Roll Hall of Fame right along the city waterfront!
