The Organizing Committee's goal is to revive the great Bol d'Or Mirabaud celebration, both on water and on land!

The event village, which will be set up in front of the sports pavilion, will allow us to celebrate this great festival together while enjoying a full range of entertainment.

We look forward to seeing you there!

The BOM22 poster unveiled

Designed by Julie Dall'Agnolo (PIM Sportsguide), the #BOM22 poster draws your attention to its central circle symbolizing:

  • a drop of water representing the lake and the competitors' playground
  • a porthole, which offers a perspective of the race as seen from inside a boat
  • the view seen by someone looking through binoculars toward the future

The central circle is surrounded by a large string of nautical flags, celebrating sailors and the lake, and the revival of festivities for competitors, partners, and the public.

Various types of sailboats are illustrated, from multihull hydrofoils (foreground), to modern monohulls with their horned mainsail, to classic monohulls that built the history and reputation of the BOM over the last 82 editions.

Have you won the Bol d'Or? Tell us about it

We'd like to update Bol d'Or Mirabaud statistics, considering all winners in the general ranking, skippers and crew alike, since the first edition of the event in 1939.

If you're one of the lucky ones who won the general ranking, in either the monohull or multihull categories, please tell us in which year, and on which boat.

Please pass this message along to other potential candidates, and write to us at .

Culture Voile

This season, the BOM's social networks challenge you in "Culture Voile". Through this thematic series, we'll test your general knowledge of the sailing world and the sumptuous Lake Geneva setting.

For International Water Day on March 22nd, we tested your knowledge about Lake Geneva. Is it the largest lake in Western Europe or in the world? How long does it take for its waters to turn over: 8, 11 or 20 years?

To find out, watch the new series "Culture Voile" available on Instagram stories at instabom and Facebook, and to replay from the story highlights on Instagram.

Alan Roura, the new Hublot ambassador

Great news was announced on March 22: Genevan sailor, Alan Roura, two-time Vendée Globe finisher and former BOM winner in the Surprise class and ambassador in 2017, will compete in the next non-stop single-handed round-the-world race under Hublot's colors.

Join Net'Léman, organised by our environmental partner ASL on 21 and 22 May

Net'Léman is an initiative to clean up the banks and the bottom of Lake Geneva, which brings together more than a thousand volunteers with the aim of preserving the beauty and health of the lake. At each event, between 5 and 10 tons of waste are collected before being sorted and if possible recycled.

The Organising Committee supports this initiative and encourages all sailors to actively contribute to it.
