Swiss watch brand TUDOR becomes the Main Partner of Alinghi Red Bull Racing in its quest for the 37th America's Cup, which sets sail in 2024. The Swiss-based team has also secured BoatZero for training later this year. The countdown is on!

With one of the most dynamic names in the history of the America's Cup - Alinghi - returning to battle for sailing's pinnacle honor in a partnership with Red Bull, it's time for a new perspective. And TUDOR is sharing the vision. The Alinghi Red Bull Racing's newly announced collaboration with Tudor is well synchronized: both the watch manufacturer and the team are dedicated to precision in their engineering and workmanship, and both are built on a legacy of innovation and success.

The America's Cup is an epic spectacle and the most important sailing event in the world. And while its Auld Mug is the oldest trophy in international sport, for each new edition the world's top teams develop fresh breakthroughs in advanced technology. TUDOR is rich in sporting heritage, creating cutting-edge, robust timepieces that are also timeless and stylish. The Geneva-based company has produced diving and sports models for decades and understands what's needed in a watch when the seas get rough.

Pointing out that Alinghi Red Bull Racing is based near Lausanne in Écublens, Tudor CEO Éric Pirson said: "TUDOR has a history of producing high-quality, precision timepieces for generations in Switzerland, and is renowned for its collaborations in the sporting world, with ambassadors such as David Beckham, big wave surfer Nic von Rupp, free diving World Champion Morgan Bourc'his or the New Zealand All Blacks rugby team. Alinghi Red Bull Racing being a Swiss team with a Swiss boat, we feel it is a natural fit for us, a Swiss company, to join forces and we are proud to see our watches sailing with the team."

Silvio Arrivabene, Alinghi Red Bull Racing's Co-General Manager - Head of Technical Operations, added: "It is time for progression. For us as a team, TUDOR combines tradition, progression and innovation. As our main partner they will inspire us to be accurate, reliable and produce excellent results on and off the water. Our team is proud to wear the TUDOR watches on the wrist as we challenge for the 37th America's Cup."

To prepare for the challenge ahead, Alinghi Red Bull Racing has acquired BoatZero as a training boat. Formerly known as 'Te Aihe' and previously owned by Emirates Team New Zealand, it was the first AC75 ever to touch water. BoatZero will be the team's primary training boat and will offer Alinghi Red Bull Racing the best start possible for the challenges ahead. In July the team will sail BoatZero when the exclusive training window of 20 sailing days opens for new teams entering the 37th America's Cup.

Arrivabene added: "This solid platform will enable us to progress to the next steps with more ease and ensure we achieve our upcoming goals."
