Doyle Sails is synonymous with high-performance Grand Prix campaigns and Superyachts, remaining at the forefront of innovation, design and technology, continually redefining sailing as we know it and today announced that they are joining forces with Spanish cable and rigging specialists Fabrica Workshop.

Throughout the partnership, engineers and rigging specialists from Doyle Sails and Fabrica Workshop will develop an exclusive range of dedicated products that integrate seamlessly into Doyle Sails Structured Luff and Stratis technology. The companies share similar performance, innovation and sustainability philosophies, offering a significant gain to new and existing Doyle Sails clients.

"I've known Alberto (Albi) and many of Fabrica Workshop guys for a long time as we have all raced with and against each other for years; they're world-class sailors and true experts in their field. We're partnering with a team that shares our same core philosophies - people, performance, innovation, and reliability. We have always said that Doyle Sails believes that having the best people will ultimately lead to our customers having the most advanced and refined product. We have significantly upped the firepower by collaborating our global Doyle team with the Fabrica team overnight.

"The constant development of our "Structured Luff" technology is still fascinating. In many codes, load sharing is an important aspect, and now the excitement around developing our new top-down furling system for fuller or low clewed race sails. This new system gives you the handling advantages top-down offers without losing the freedom of the "cableless" aspect, so you can still reap all its projection and load reduction benefits. It's massive, and we now have a proven and reliable system on the market.

"With this partnership, both Doyle Sails and Fabrica Workshop gain more knowledge, the very latest equipment and technology and a strong European based operation to really deliver a world-class product to our customers. I am very excited to be able to announce this fantastic partnership."

- Doyle Sails International CEO, Mike Sanderson

This collaboration allows Fabrica Workshop and Doyle Sails to strengthen the vital communication loop between sailors, sailmakers and riggers, driving the constant innovation that both companies have become renowned for. The on-water testing, expertise and analysis will allow Doyle Sails and Fabrica Workshop to provide one of the most seamless services available on the market.

The exclusive Doyle Sails range will include state of the art top-down systems that suit custom furling units - explicitly built to enhance the Doyle Sails technology and deliver unmatched reliability and quality. The range also includes Luff Slings and bottom-up furling options.

Fabrica Workshop shares a similar ownership structure to Doyle Sails, owned and operated by well-known Grand Prix sailors and riggers including America's Cup veteran and world-renowned tactician Alberto (Albi) Barovier. Fabrica Workshop strengthens the Doyle Sails ethos, by sailors, for sailors.

We are proud to partner with a company like Doyle Sails; their professional team face similar challenges to us every day, finding ways to make boats go faster. Working side by side with them means we can improve and deliver our customer the best products and integration available on the market.

Fabrica Workshop CEO, Alberto (Albi) Barovier

Greg Bennett, Fabrica Workshops Project Manager, continues, Sails and cables have traditionally been stand-alone products, but not anymore. Doyle Sails has pioneered the Structured Luff technology, which sees the load being shared between sail and sling or cable. Sails and cables must be designed together as a package to ensure correct load share, seamless integration and performance. Were excited to team up with Doyle Sails.

With a strategic location in Valencia, Spain, the Doyle x Fabrica partnership brings the highly sought simplicity and efficiency for all customers with dedicated project management, in house designers and engineers, and sailors.
