SailGP USA: Home team capsizes during practice session in San Francisco

The USA SailGP team capsized during the first Practice session in San Francisco on Monday, local time.

No-one was injured in the incident.

On board at the time as a sixth crew member was Kai Lenny, Red Bull surfer, who joined the USA SailGP Team for the practice session. After being righted the F50 is understood to have sailed home without assistance, indicating that damage was minimal.

San Francisco SailGP gets underway this weekend.
