Restart Sailing show #44 © Jon Emmett

The Restart Sailing shows started in 2020 when the pandemic first hit, with the aim of restarting sailing in a safe way.

Now as we head into 2022 with the pandemic looking likely to be an endemic by summer 2022, the new focus now moves to resetting sailing by building a firm foundation for the sport, based on grass roots, which are the clubs, classes and training.

In the latest show we:

  • Celebrate the return of international regattas
  • Talk to 4 young sailors at very different stages in the RS Feva class
  • Discuss when racing when to focus on boatspeed and when to focus on boat to boat tactics

The next show (#45) will be live from the Princess Sofia regatta in Palma with Hattie Rogers from the Waszp class.
