Storm Eunice and its aftermath sadly put paid to this winter season's Illusion Match Racing. Although we were hopeful that perhaps the forecasters might have got it wrong, as the week progressed it looked less and less likely that racing was going to be possible.

Indeed by mid-morning Thursday and with no prospect of conditions being suitable for close quarter racing (indeed any racing), the decision was taken to cancel. As things unfolded on Friday, and Saturday & Sunday mornings, a wise decision!

Unfortunately the programme to the end of the season in late April is such that re-scheduling is simply not possible, so no Match Racing Champion this year.

No racing next weekend (26th & 27th February) as the tides are wrong. It's the 2022 National Championships the weekend after (5th &6th March).
