As excitement builds toward the Mubadala United States Sail Grand Prix in San Francisco, fans have the opportunity to win their place at the SailGP Season 2 Grand Final, March 26-27, and enjoy a weekend in the host city as the global championship announces a new partnership with the San Francisco Travel Association (SF Travel).

Starting today and running through March 3, race fans from the contiguous United States can enter at SFTravel.com to win a #RacetoSF fan package featuring two VIP tickets, roundtrip airfare, and hotel accommodation.

The winners will experience the season finale in SailGP's Season 2 drama-filled championship calendar, the Mubadala United States Grand Prix in San Francisco. The weekend promises to deliver spectacular racing action, with eight teams racing head-to-head at highway speeds on the spectator-friendly race course on San Francisco Bay between the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island, with the race village located on Marina Green.

Also included in the #RacetoSF giveaway is VIP access to the Adrenaline Lounge, offering gourmet food and beverage service, athlete appearances and prime viewing of the racing, and where the winners can experience the on-water national rivalries first hand between teams representing the U.S., Australia, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Japan, New Zealand and Spain.

San Francisco sports legend Jimmy Spithill and his U.S. SailGP Team will look to defeat the Australian team led by Tom Slingsby, both whom have already earned a place in the Grand Final race on Sunday, with the weekend's racing determining the third and final team joining them in the winner-take-all final race for the sport's largest prize, US $1 million.

The #RacetoSF winners can enjoy a weekend exploring San Francisco's sights and sounds after racing concludes - enjoy internationally-acclaimed restaurants, explore the city's top 20 attractions, and plan ahead with the official San Francisco Travel Visitor's Guide for curated recommendations.
