A busy year ahead for Tenby Sailing Club

A busy year ahead is planned for the volunteers at sunny Tenby in west Wales.

The club dinghy racing season kicks off in earnest on the first weekend in April with handicap racing for all dinghies including class racing for the popular Osprey fleet.

The club's very popular junior sail training program also restarts on April 6th after a two year break for the pandemic.

Dates for your diary:

  • Tenby Regatta and annual Round Caldey Island race June 25/26th
  • Firefly National Championships August 7th to 12th
  • Enterprise and Redwing National Championship August 21st - 26th

Taking place this coming weekend The 2023 Tenby Regatta takes place on the weekend of 17th and 18th June. The Notice of Race is available on the TSC website. Celebrations began early for Darren and Hayley Roach Celebrations began early at the Allen Enterprise Nationals at the end of Thursday as with one race remaining, Darren and Hayley Roach of Looe SC were announced as the clear winners with just 11 points over the eight races sailed. Darren and Hayley Roach go into the lay day in a strong position Day 3 of the Allen Enterprise National Championship gave us a stable south westerly between 7 to 12 knots in cloudy conditions, with the occasional shift to keep the competitors thinking.
