Gosford turned on a great day racing today with wind better than forecast and a pleasing 24 entries. The was a nice 8-13 Knots North Easterly breeze, no delays and both races had clean starts.

Conditions suited Matt Mulder who took two bullets today, sailing two perfect races. Sitting second overall is Mark Bulka with a 4th & 2nd. Leading around the last mark, a big wind shift saw Bulka lose the lead to Mulder.

Hot on there heels is ACT Contender veteran Paul Cohen taking a 2nd & 5th. Very consistent was Lindsay Irwin sitting in 4th, ready to pounce on day 2 with a 3rd & 4th.

Tomorrow heats 3 & 4 are scheduled with a forecast of 13-15 knots from the South West.
