As we enter into our 75th year, NOSA is once again going all out in preparation for the annual Newport to Ensenada International Yacht Race, which sails April 22, 2022.
Registration is open and it's time to enter!
For those looking to brush up on night sailing, provisioning, weather, and crew tips for a fun, safe and trophy-winning race, in-person and Zoom seminars will be offered later this month.
Please check nosa.org for additional dates and locations as they are added and signed up at nosa.org/seminars:
- January 27 - Silver Gate Yacht Club
- February 10 - Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club
- March 10 - Del Rey Yacht Club
Dates coming soon for Santa Barbara Yacht Club & Dana Point Yacht Club.
Both BCYC and DPYC seminars will be broadcast live on Zoom.
Up for grabs for a second year is the Storm Trysail Club Team Racing Trophy. This prestigious blue-water sailing organization is offering a trophy for any three-boat team who signs up and has the lowest combined finish score.
Joining the competition is easy - just find two fellow skippers in which you have something in common (alma mater, dock mates, professions, number of ex-wives, similar boat names, etc.,) pick an inspired team name, and register online. The only caveat is that boats cannot all be racing N2E in the same class. One of the three teams must race is another division.
Lastly, the N2E Store is open online, and new and previous race gear can be ordered and shipped across the country.
NOSA, now in its 75th anniversary year, is again offering three courses for its legendary N2E. The sprint to Dana Point, the half marathon to San Diego, and the classic - all-time favorite course to Ensenada, Mexico.
Won't you join us?
