The Azuree 46, Kayimai, sailing in the two-handed division has become the latest retiree with instrument issues that have subsequently shown up engine issues.

Philosopher, the Sydney 36CR has also retired - 'Nothing major' part of her transmission, which is good to know.

As at 0407hrs 27/12/21 19 vessels listed as retired either at sea or safely back at port (by day break it would be 20 with Extasea the latest). Zen the only one to report injury to crew so far. A lot of forestay/rigging issues and mainsail problems make up the bulk of the retirements.
