Briefings December 15, 2021

New Zealand is blessed with some of the most amazing coastlines and waterways but we don't always look after them as well as we should. That's part of the reason why Yachting New Zealand have launched the Clean Club programme, a three-star rating system for clubs to become environmentally focused. We've partnered with the New Zealand SailGP Team in this important initiative, which is believed to be the first of its kind in the world, and it's also been endorsed by Sailors for the Sea.

We lead this final edition of Briefings for the year on the Clean Club programme and also bring you regular features like Regional Roundup and Dave's Desk as well as a look at why the P Class is enjoying a resurgence in this country.

It's been our pleasure to keep you updated throughout the year, even though it has been particularly challenging for many of us, and look forward to reconnecting again in mid-January. We hope you enjoy some time with family and friends over the Christmas break - and plenty of time out on the water. As always, let us know if you've got any news or suggestions by emailing michaelb@yachtingnz.org.nz. Merry Christmas.
