16 Youth Athletes ready for Youth Worlds in Oman

From Hawaii to Florida, this year's US Youth Worlds team is one of the widest representations of geographic diversity that has ever taken to the water on behalf of the US against the rest of the world.

Led by Gold Medalist Anna Tunnicliffe, the entire US team and staff are preparing to lock it in, with racing set to begin Monday, December 13.

  • Katharine Doble (Pacific Palisades, Calif.) - Female One Person Dinghy (ILCA 6)
  • Thomas Sitzmann (Severna Park, MD) / Luke Woodworth (Baltimore, MD) - Male/Mixed Two Person Dinghy (i420)
  • Vanessa Lahrkamp (Rye, NY) / Katherine McNamara (Darien, CT) - Female Two Person Dinghy (i420)
  • Kay Brunsvold (Sarasota, Fla.) / Cooper Delbridge (Englewood, Fla.) - Mixed Two Person Multihull (Nacra 15)
  • Noah Zittrer (Seabrook, TX) - Male Kiteboarding (Formula Kite)

Notice of Race

"It's so cool to be here representing the USA on the world stage," said men's 29er crew Noah Nyenhuis. "The Youth Worlds have been a huge goal for Ian and I for a long time and we're stoked finally be here and get after it."

"I'm really excited to finally get out and race," said Windsurfer Danicka Sailer. "It was a long trip to get here, but now that we're all on the ground as a team, we can't wait to hit the water and represent the USA."
