The custom Catalyst 45 chase boat due to start construction in the first part of 2022 will be Lloyd Stevenson Boatbuilder's 69th custom boat.
This lightweight high-speed catamaran will serve as a chase boat for a challenger team for the 37th Americas Cup. The Catalyst continues to be the number one choice for chase boats in high-performance yachting.
The boat will be similar to the images of T/T Skorpios in that she will have a narrowed offset cabin to make room for sail storage on the starboard side deck.
This is a good use of space that still maintains a central steering position.
