Atkins Ferrie Wealth Management is stepping up to be the headline sponsor for the 2022 Falmouth Classics, from being a major sponsor in 2021. This event for classic sailing craft, now in its 35th year, will take place from 17-19 June with participating vessels arriving in the port on the 16th June. The Classics will coincide with the return of the very popular Falmouth International Shanty Festival. So, there will be a feast for the eyes on the water and for the ears ashore.

James Sculthorp-Wright, Strategic Development Director and Chartered Financial Planner of Atkins Ferrie Wealth Management said "We are delighted to be the headline sponsor for Falmouth Classics 2022, continuing our historic support of the event. It is fundamental to us that we support local events, and we are proud to be working with the volunteers that make Falmouth Classics the success that it is."

Keith Tullett, Chairman of Falmouth Classics Association said "The Association very much appreciates the increased support that Atkins Ferrie Wealth Management is contributing to the 2022 event. The volunteer team looks forward to working with representatives of the company both before and during the event."

Falmouth Classics, since its re-incarnation in 2013 has gone from strength to strength, and since 2017 has been the largest classic and heritage sailing event in the South West and one of the two largest in the UK. The organising team looks forward to welcoming beautiful sailing craft, many with traditional rigs from around the UK and France.

As well as three races and the Sunday morning parade of power and sail, the 2022 event will see the return of the Classics Maritime Village on Custom House Quay, the small boat parade on Sunday afternoon, and the rowing and sculling event on Saturday afternoon between the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club and the Greenbank Hotel.
