Columbus Yachts announces the sale of the first unit of the new 47-metre Atlantique coming in rapid succession after the sale of the two Atlantique 43 currently under construction at the Ancona shipyard.

"With the signing of this new contract, the number of newbuild orders nailed down by Palumbo Superyachts in the last 12 months surges to 8, confirming the complete success of the strategy embraced by the Group in recent years", comments Giuseppe Palumbo, CEO of Palumbo Superyachts.

The new Columbus Atlantique 47 project, designed by the Milan-based 'Hot Lab' studio, is devoted to the "Architecture for Voyagers" philosophy for an authentically stylistic superyacht configured for an Owner craving an adventure on any trip by sea and through nature.

Atlantique 47 comprises four double cabins with e-suite bathroom located below deck, a full-beam owner suite on the main deck, a second swimming pool on the forward upper deck and a whole sun deck dedicated to conviviality. The vessel was specifically designed to a volume of 499GT and is due for delivery in 2023.

It is noteworthy to mention the beach club developed on the main deck transom and characterized by two folding side-wings and a large central swimming pool sloping towards the sea.

Two engines of 1350 horse power each will push it to a maximum speed of 15.5 knots, cruise at 14.5 knots and provide a range of 3400 nautical miles at 12 knots.

To complete the features of Atlantique 47, a series of eco-friendly solutions - such as water purifiers, low fuel consumption propulsion system, etc. - will guarantee minimum negative impact on the environment and constant energy saving.
