Briefings November 3, 2021

Disruption is a fairly normal part of life these days but it's not stopping us from holding this year's Volvo Yachting Excellence Awards. Of course, the ongoing lockdown in Auckland means we can't gather in person for the usual gala dinner but we still think it's important to recognise achievements in our sport so we're taking them online on November 12. You can find out all the details about it in this instalment of Briefings, as well as the final part of our three-part series introducing those winners who have already been announced. Today it's the turn of the Yachting New Zealand Performance Awards.

We also bring you a bumper edition of Regional Roundup, the latest Covid-19 update and what it means for yachting and boating, as well as a look at the upcoming Laser world championships in Spain which features two Kiwi sailors.

As always, let us know if you've got any news or suggestions by emailing michaelb@yachtingnz.org.nz.
