A new breed of Cat

Excess is the new, award-winning catamaran series from Groupe Beneteau, that will thrill you with its blend of design and performance.

The spacious and exhilarating to sail, Excess 12, will soon be joined by the first of our Excess 11 to arrive in Sydney. She comes with the optional Pulse Taller Rig, which delivers increased sail area.

Our initial feedback has revealed that Excess is very popular with those monohull sailors who perhaps are farewelling their racing days - and are looking for a boat that will provide volume and space to entertain their family and friends, whilst still delivering the joy and sensation of sailing that is sadly missing from many of today's production multihulls.
