The North American debut of the breathtaking Princess Y72 at the 2021 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show

Princess Yachts, the UK's leading luxury yacht manufacturer, has announced that the North American debut of the Princess Y72 will be featured at this year's Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.

The Y72 is instantly recognisable as a member of the Y Class, and reinforces the British brand's focus on elegance, beautiful design and attention to detail across the range.

Designed by the Princess Design Studio in collaboration with naval architects Olesinski and Italian design house, Pininfarina, the Y72 features beautifully sculpted exterior forms and expansive full-length hull windows, also seen on the highly anticipated flagship of the range, the Y95, due to launch in 2022. Indoor and outdoor living areas are optimised to create sociable yet practical spaces, whilst powerful twin MAN V12 1650mhp engines provide speeds of up to 34 knots.

Alongside the Y72 at this year's show, will be the Y78 and Y85, the 'superfly' Princess X95, the F62 flybridge, the dynamic V65 and the flagship of the S Class range, the S78.

The exceptional line up of seven yachts will be on display at the Purple Zone: Bahia Mar Yachting Centre, Face Dock 10, A-G, from the 27t h - 31s t October 2021.

The Yachts

Y85

Princess Y Class Motor Yachts deliver an unmatched combination of luxury, interior ambience and space. Amongst the Y85 is the new Y78 and Y72 as well as the all-new Y Class flagship, the Y95, all of which deliver stunning performance, technology and quality time at sea. Hand-built in Plymouth, England, the Y85 offers a unique experience, created for the owner who wants to travel in style and luxury.

The Princess Design Studio and Olesinski worked closely with Pininfarina to combine a unique sculptural elegance and simplicity of form that gives the Y85 breathtaking new looks while remaining unmistakably Princess. The Y85 design team focused as much on interior layout and use as on exterior elegance and detail. The flybridge unashamedly focuses on al-fresco living and relaxing.

A large dining area sits opposite a fully-equipped wet bar, barbecue and fridge, further complemented by a large aft sunpad and forward-facing seating either side of the helm position where guests can take shade underneath the dynamic architectural form of the optional louvred hardtop.

Y78

The Y78 was designed by Princess Design Studio in collaboration with long-standing naval architects Olesinski. The Y78 sports a new hardtop design and features the very latest in interior materials and finishes. She features a walk-through foredeck with U-shaped seating and sunbathing area, whilst the flybridge aft has space for free-standing furniture or can accommodate a crane and a tender. Below deck all three guest cabins are en-suite whilst a dedicated staircase leads to the owner's stateroom amidships via a private lobby area.

The 'Superfly' X95

Princess Yachts' new 'Superfly' X Class range re-defines the practical potential and lifestyle options aboard with a complete re-think of yacht architecture. Designed in collaboration with Olesinski and Pininfarina, the X95 is the first model in Princess Yachts' new X Class. Challenged with setting a new standard of layout excellence, which is defined by large, adaptable spaces that can be used and formatted in numerous ways, it offers the owner and guests a uniquely flexible boating lifestyle.

Both the flybridge and main deck interior space cover almost the full length of the yacht, creating the Super Flybridge - the X Class's defining characteristic. This new layout provides 10% more outdoor space and 40% more indoor space than a traditional motor yacht.

S78

The flagship of the S Class range, the exhilarating S78 perfectly balances luxury and scintillating performance. A resin-infused hull delivers exceptional performance with breath taking agility up to 39 knots. When at anchor, peacefulness descends onto her generously appointed deck areas whilst her hydraulic bathing platform and 4.45m tender garage with integrated tender launch system become the perfect base for watersports.

Her interior inspires relaxation with with a range of exclusive furnishings, ambient lighting and a cavernous main deck saloon, seamlessly connected to the outside world through full length side windows.

F62

The new F62 boasts a walkthrough foredeck entertaining space and a hydraulic bathing platform to set the standard for the F Class. Her flybridge inspires relaxation with a large dining area, sunpad aft and a unique circular forward seating area that can be converted into an additional sunpad.

Her cavernous main deck saloon connects to the world outside through full length side windows, while her sociable galley is positioned aft and opens to the cockpit. The helm position is located to starboard with additional forward facing guest seating opposite. Below deck six guests enjoy three beautifully appointed en-suite cabins all bathed in natural light from elegant hull glazing, with the option of a further twin cabin aft for occasional guests or crew.

V65

Powerful and progressive, the Princess V65 sets the standard for the Princess V Class range. Whether you're slicing through the seas at 38 knots or navigating stormy waters - a foundation of superior engineering rides with you. Her Olesinski inspired deep-V hull is optimised for greater lift and less drag, to create lower planning speeds with greater efficiency.

The spacious cockpit inspires relaxation complimented with a sun pad and well equipped dining area leading to the fully equipped aft galley. This flexible deck saloon model can be climate controlled or opened to the elements via sliding doors and a retractable sunroof.
