Blue Guard Innovations (BGI), the industry leader and innovator of smart boat monitoring and control technology, announces a major upgrade to their award winning, patented smart switches and sensors. By integrating Bluetooth mesh technology, BGI has enhanced the bilge pump switches, high-water and oil/fuel sensors with the ability to directly interface with the Smart Skipper™ system.

"Smart Skipper has the capabilities to remotely monitor your boat's essential systems and accessories regardless of whether you're onboard or offboard," says Zdravko Divjak, President of BGI. "Unlike other remote monitoring systems on the market, Smart Skipper gives you local ability to monitor and control your vessel through a dedicated onboard smart tablet. We're tackling boat security, protection and safety challenges better than our competitors. Our interactive onboard gateway makes monitoring simple."

BGI-M switches and sensors now interface with the Smart Skipper system using robust and reliable Bluetooth 5.0 technology. All Smart Skipper enabled switches and sensors have remote testing capabilities so that users can troubleshoot systems and diagnose issues, such as bilge pump failure. The system instantly detects and notifies users of a potential emergency situation before it occurs with local alerts and cloud push notifications to their smart devices. Users have the ability to monitor high-water (SM-HW-M), oil/fuel (SM-OIL-M) and bilge pump switch functions with integrated high-water alarm (SM-SWA-M). Additionally, each BGI-M switch and sensor includes an input that can be interfaced with other alarms.

BGI is welcoming interested boaters to schedule a product demonstration or configure their vessel by calling +1 (720) 214-3715 or send an email to .
