The Tiree Wave Classic returns

The past 18 months have been a challenging time with every event on the TMR UK Wave Tour being cancelled.

For the first time ever, competitors have the chance to claim rights to both the iconic Tiree Wave Classic sword and the coveted British Titles honours in ONE competition. We look forward to seeing you all there.

We are working closely in conjunction with the British Wavesailing Association, RYA Scotland, Tiree Community Development Trust, Argyll & Bute Council, Event Scotland and Caledonian MacBrayne, to ensure that we can deliver a safe and successful event this year...

There will be some notable changes in the format of this years event in order to make the event as safe as possible for competitors, organisers and the population of the Isle of Tiree.

Quotes

Gavin Dunlop - Tiree Wave Classic Judge and local waterman: "It's been an emotional two years, we are back and bigger than ever. The conditions have been pumping on the lead up to the event and we couldn't be more excited to be once again hosting the Tiree Wave Classic."

William Maclean - Event Host and local wave-sailing legend: "If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain! We are happy to be back!"
