Sunseeker sets new record at the Bournemouth Air Festival

by Bryan Jones 18 Sep 2021 23:49 AEST 4 September 2021

Sunseeker brought together a record number of new and classic boats during the Bournemouth Air Festival on Saturday 4th September. Just under 40 boats sailed through the Marine Exclusion Zone in front of spectators in a spectacular water display.

Andrea Frabetti, CEO at Sunseeker International, commented: "We are delighted to bring together a record number of Sunseeker's at this year's Bournemouth Air Festival. The event truly was a celebration of Sunseeker's past and present."

Jon Weaver, Air Festival Director, added: "What a fantastic spectacle we saw on Saturday with a flotilla of Sunseekers through the ages parading between the piers, particularly with the additional last minute appearance from Pip Hare being an added bonus. It was great to have the support of Sunseeker this year, with many participants for Saturday's parade. Along with the new Atlas Elektronik UK STEM marquee on the East Overcliff and the Dorset EMC STEM Breakfast which took place on Thursday, Sunseeker's maritime contribution has certainly helped shape the festival's future STEM involvement."
