The team will be traveling to Oman with Team Leader Phil Muller and 2 additional coaches. "Youth Worlds is a really special event as it showcases the best youth talent worldwide," said Muller, recipient of the 2020 US Sailing Developmental Coach of the Year award. "All of our modern-day heroes were once Youth Worlds champions so we look to this next generation to make their mark. We have an extremely strong team of athletes from all over the country, stretching from Hawaii to the West Coast, Midwest, East Coast, and the Gulf Coast. The team's impressive geographic spread is a testament to the strength of our nation's commitment to youth sailing as well as the regional programs and coaches who committed to the growth and development of these athletes and the support they provided to help them reach the top of their field."

"We're excited to return to the Youth Worlds with a very strong team after Covid cancelled the 2020 event," said Leandro Spina, Olympic Development Director. "We have new faces and new talent on the team and we'll be welcoming Formula Kite to the lineup of classes for the first time in Youth Worlds history."
