The 2021 Mustang Survival J/70 Corinthians National Championship will be taking place from September 15th to 19th in Marblehead, MA with Eastern Yacht Club hosting the thirty-one teams from across the country.

A few of the teams have already been campaigning actively all summer, with some having just completed sailing in the J/70 World Championship in Marina del Rey, California. Perhaps the team to beat may be top local sailor Brian Keane, skipper of Savasana, with his crew of Conner Harding, Eric Knight, and Rob Dresser. Keane was the J/70 Worlds leader after the first day of racing and remained at the top of the leaderboard for the regatta.

Several other top teams that will be challenging Keane's Savasana crew, including Josh Becker's Awkward Turtle from Annapolis, MD; Sarah Renz's Berteau Group from Chicago, IL; Tod Sackett's FM from Edgewater, OH; Mike Kirkman's Hot Ticket from Bayview, MI; Tim Finkle's Junior from Youngstown, NY; Cate Muller-Terhune's Murder Hornet from Annapolis, MD; Alex McPhail's Nessuna from Annapolis, MD; Henry Brauer's Rascal from Marblehead, MA; Stein Skaane's Shred from Marblehead, MA; and Dave Jannetti's Very Odd from Miami, FL.
