Vaikobi support two massive events this week - The ILCA UK Nationals and HISC Youth Week

As the UK ILCA National Championships get under way today in Weymouth Bay, after the last 18 months it is quite incredible to see an event coming together at Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy that has more than 270 boats on the entry list.
Vaikobi's support for this huge event is the next step of our major event sponsorship in the best fleets. Vaikobi are on site alongside our industry partners Sailingfast, who have a full retail service for the Vaikobi range, and Ovington, manufacturer of the ILCA, who we have had a close working relationship for a number of years. Bryan Stewart, International Sales and Marketing lead for Vaikobi, is on site at the opening of the event and working closely with the event organisers and our partners to make sure that we have a great presence and to spread the word about the Vaikobi difference.
Event Support has come in the form of cash sponsorship and a vast array of Vaikobi kit on the prize list, including the outstanding VX Race Buoyancy Aid, the most comfortable dinghy racing buoyancy aid on the market.
We are sure that the huge fleets will have a great event and enjoy the sailing on one of the iconic waters of Weymouth Bay.
We are also heavily involved with the Hayling Island Youth Race Week, working with Becks Kent there to have on site event branding and providing support in a generous prize line up.
Vaikobi are absolutely stoked to be supporting Hayling Island Sailing Club Youth Race Week. The event is the biggest yet, with more than 180 boats on the entry list across a fantastic range of fleets, including 29ers, RS200s, RS Fevas, Laser 4.7s/ILCA 4s, RS Teras and Optimists.
Every single one of the nearly 250 competitors will receive a a Vaikobi Race Cap, and the prize line up includes more than £1,000 worth of Vaikobi goodies. Bryan Stewart from Vaikobi commented, "This is our first time working with Hayling Island Sailing Club, we hope the first of many, and we are absolutely delighted to be getting involved with Youth Race Week. Youth Racing is at the very core of the Vaikobi brand, having sponsored numerous teams, fleets and events on our home waters of Sydney Harbour. We are looking forward to spreading the word on the Vaikobi difference with such an iconic location as Hayling Island, one of the top dinghy racing clubs in the world."
