by ComMar Sales 30 Jul 2021 11:35 PDT

ComMar has added Brian Steele to serve in a technical and applications support role on the company's sales team.

Brian has worked in the marine industry for over 25 years as a design and applications engineer and has had exposure to all facets of product development and support.

Prior to joining ComMar, Brian worked for 17 years at Seakeeper, Inc. as a mechanical design and applications engineer. He was a member of the initial development team for the gyro stabilizer and other related products and went on to contribute to the company for 12 years after the first model went into production.

Prior to Seakeeper, Brian was a project/design engineer for 8 years at Maritime Dynamics, Inc. who supplied ride control systems to the high speed ferry and yacht market on vessels ranging from 20 -100 m in length. A lifelong boater and recreational fisherman, Brian enjoys spending time on the water and fishing in the Delmarva coastal and Chesapeake Bay waters.

"We are very excited to have Brian join the ComMar Team. We felt that with some of our manufacturers introducing products with advanced technology, someone with Brian's skill set would greatly enhance our technical sales and support services," said ComMar Vice President Norm MacLeod.

Headquartered in Tiverton, Rhode Island, ComMar Sales represents leading equipment and accessories manufacturers in the US northeast, mid Atlantic and southeast states.
