Another exciting sailing day for the sailors participating in this year's Rodos Cup 2021 was the route from Tilos to Nisyros. The boats started with a low-strength Northwestern wind from Tilos until about halfway.
The boats which chose a route close to Tilos made the right decision, as after some drop in wind intensity, the Westerly wind that came found them in a more favorable position than those who chose the pelagic route. With such wind speeds, all the boats finished before 16:30.
In the IMS category, Maria Electra came first, while Apollon finished second and Favorit Plus third.
In the IRC category, St. Anna came first, Fox was second and Courrier du Coeur third.
In the Cruising category, Nefeli came first, followed by Enchantment Of Sakhalin and Take Wind third.
Tomorrow is planned to be a non-racing day and the crews will enjoy the beauties of hospitable Nisyros.
