Four freaky sharks © NOAA Fisheries

We're pouring over our material for Shark Week and found some pretty freaky species of shark. But we couldn't decide which was the freakiest of the fish. So we need your help!

Visit NOAA Fisheries social media accounts to vote for one of these freaky fish. We'll reveal the winner and more freakish details on Freaky Shark Friday!

The final four:

1. Basking Shark

We're working to learn more about this elusive, school bus-sized shark. Vote for the basking shark to see the freaky side of this giant on Friday.

2. Cookie Cutter Shark

The cookie cutter shark isn't big and looks like a cigar. But the freaky of this shark is in that perfectly round mouth. Vote for the cookie cutter shark to learn about his inner freaky on Friday!

3. Pocket Shark

Back to the tiny ocean-dwellers for this little cutie. At 5-1/2 inches long, this recently discovered shark hides something special—and freaky—in those little pockets. Vote for the pocket shark to find out what it is on Friday.

4. Thresher Shark

This shark's tail grows to be half it's body length and wait until you learn what he can do with it! Vote for the thresher shark to find out what that freaky tail does this Friday!
