Big fleet for first race of Lewmar Triple Series - double handed event

The first race of the of the SSANZ Lewmar Triple Series got off to a spectacular start last weekend with 152 boats taking part in the Lewmar Triple Series 60.

It was a stunning day, with the wind strength building throughout the race which meant most of the fleet complete the 60 nautical mile race (38nm for smaller fleet) before dusk.

The next race in the series is the Lewmar Triple Series 100 on August 7 followed by the 50 mile race on September 4.

The series is proving extremely popular and already 149 boats have entered the 100 mile race across the 11 division.
