Women sought for US Sailing keelboat instructor certificate

Betsy Alison has announced that US Sailing has received grant funding available for 6-12 women to complete their keel boat instructor qualification program exam.

The exam is three days, in Chicago, and will likely be held in early September. In order to receive the grant, at least six women who are skilled keel boat sailors must apply soon for the exam.

The $350 fee for the exam will be waived! This is a great opportunity and savings. If you or anyone you know are ready and want to teach sailing on a keel boat, please contact Debbie Huntsman, president of the National Women's Sailing Association, immediately.
