Hård is responsible for developing Torqeedo's international service and aftermarket sales and support strategy. Hård also serves as an important interface between Torqeedo's customers and service partners and management, the quality team, and product management.

Dr Michael Rummel, Torqeedo's managing director, said, "Outstanding service and after-sales support is a critical component to achieving Torqeedo's mission to create a climate-friendly future. We must be sure that our customers have the absolute best experience with our products, and I believe that Anders Hård is the right man to make that happen."

"I am excited to be part of Torqeedo, which is transforming the marine industry with environmentally responsible solutions and a new user experience. I wanted to work within a fast-moving company that wants to make a difference and has sustainability in its DNA," said Hård.

Hård continued: "I'm looking forward to leveraging advanced Torqeedo technology to increase uptime and productivity for our customers. "I have great confidence in my team, our organisation, and in our network that we will be in the driver's seat in transforming our operation and the marine industry with regards to service, service levels and after-sales offerings. Our ultimate goal is to make Torqeedo products easy to own and offer an industry-leading user experience," Hård concluded. "And we will do so."

Hård came to Torqeedo from Volvo Penta, where he spent 25 years in various business and operational positions, most recently focusing on aftermarket business development. Hård holds degrees in business & finance from Gothenburg University and IHM Business School.
