The UK Europe Class Association has announced that the 2022 UK Europe National Championships will be held at Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, the same venue which saw 50 Europes racing this year, from the 2nd - 5th June 2022!

The event will take place over the extended 'Platinum Jubilee' bank-holiday weekend, and also falls within half term for most of the country. These dates aim to maximise participation, providing three days of racing, as well as set-up/practice day all without taking time off from work or school!

The class made the decision to return to WPNSA having had such great experiences at the venue in recent years, with world class facilities, easy boat parking and launching, and with exciting and accessible sailing conditions across the wind range for all sailors.

The event will aim to continue the welcoming and friendly atmosphere created within the class, with high quality racing which is enjoyable for all, and the class hopes to welcome sailors from other countries to travel to the event, travel restrictions permitting.

If you own a Europe, make sure to mark the dates in your calendar, as the event will not be one to miss. Similarly, there has never been a better time to join the Europe class in the UK, with a growing fleet, new and used boats available and a friendly and helpful community surrounding the class!
