Barton Marine - Our climate change commitment

Barton Climate Commitment © Barton Marine

Barton Marine is serious about the long-term welfare of our lands and oceans. We are committed to ensuring climate change and environmental policies are front of mind when it comes to Barton's production and operations activities.

It's crucial that we have a positive mindset towards sustainability, review areas where we impact on the environment and take advantage of opportunities to adapt for the better. Climate change and damage to our environment ultimately risks the health of our planet, our humanity and ways of life - and closer to home, the Barton business and the livelihoods it supports.

We are determined to do our bit to safeguard the long-term interests of future generations of sailors, so they have a world worth living in, oceans fit for exploring and a landscape to play on.

Barton Marine is committed to sustainable production opportunities, working with our suppliers and service providers across the board. We are pursuing ways to reduce paper consumption and waste, recycling materials as much as possible, lowering our reliance on single use plastics, minimising carbon emissions and seeking out partners that have a similar ethos.

We can't predict exactly how the future will look, but we know that Barton Marine has a responsibility to help improve conditions and every incremental step across business spectrums will add up to significant change.

We will keep everyone updated with the latest environmental initiatives in our monthly Newsline. If you aren't already subscribed, click here to sign up now.
