The inaugural Ibiza JoySail Regatta organised by STP Shipyard Palma, Marina Ibiza and Club Náutico de Ibiza, with the support of the Consell de Ibiza, which was due to take place June 17-20, has been postponed to mid-October in light of the remaining health risk and travel issues in Europe, allowing owners, crews, friends and families to share in this new event, which aims to become an annual draw, in a unique destination that is the island of Ibiza.

The decision to move the dates towards the end of the season has already piqued the interest of several more superyacht and large yacht owners, who have expressed a desire to join the fleet at Ibiza Joysail.

"We want to keep the leitmotif of Ibiza Joysail, which is to create a great community of friends for many years, with thrilling competition. So we will wait to make it happen in October with greater enthusiasm, with fewer restrictions and more options to enjoy not only the Ibizan waters, but also a fun social agenda; and of course, to celebrate that we are all well and to commemorate the season passed," noted Daniel Marí, manager of Marina Ibiza.
