Strong Kinsale Yacht Club showing for the Dun Laoghaire to Dingle race

Kinsale Yacht Club has four contenders in this year's Dun Laoghaire to Dingle race.

Tom Roche in his Salona 45, Meridian, is joined by Finbarr O'Regan in his recently acquired J109, Artful DodJer. Also racing are Conor Doyle in Freya, an XP50, and Cian McCarthy in Cinnamon Girl, a Sunfast 3300. Good luck to all from KYC.

Many of the D to D entrants are coming to Kinsale directly from Dingle in readiness for the O'Leary Life Sovereigns Cup which starts on Wednesday 23rd June. Though there is a reduced entry, in line with Covid 19 restrictions, some very close racing is expected, particularly in the Coastal Fleet.

Nieulargo, Denis & Ann Murphy - RCYC, along with WOW, George Sisk - RIYC, D-TOX, Patrick McSwiney - RIYC and Aquelina, James Tyrrell - ASC, are just some of the challengers to the strong KYC field which include Meridian, Freya and Cinnamon Girl.
