Tax deductible donations for a Cleaner Ocean

by Ian Thomson / Ocean Crusaders 5 Jun 2021 21:21 UTC
Cleaner Ocean - Boat © Ocean Crusaders

Ocean Crusaders have been cleaning waterways across the Eastern seaboard for the last 5 years and have removed staggering amounts of debris, stopping it from getting out into our playground. In 2020 that equated to 451kg every single day, removed by hand from hard to get to places.

As they continue to grow, it is time to get a second team on the water and that necessitates a new vessel. We've had a kick start from the Queensland Government's Gambling Community Benefit Fund tipping in $35,000 of the $82,000 needed for our ideal boat. We are now seeking Tax Deductible Donations to allow us to finish off the boat, complete with new engines and a trailer. Every donation helps out, be it $10 through to larger amounts. And you get the added benefit of a tax right off. (NB: All donations for this fundraiser will be solely used to build the new work boat)

To contribute towards this new vessel, please visit www.mycause.com.au/page/252445/tax-deductible-donations-for-a-cleaner-ocean-boat
