Consortium of Dutch yacht builders announces dates for 2021 Dutch Yachting Weekend – second running of successful small-scale waterside boatshow.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural Dutch Yachting Weekend, designed and delivered in a collaboration between the exhibiting constructors in response to the Covid situation, the second running of the popular event is now set for Friday 25 to Sunday 27 June 2021.

Hosted at Contest Yachts' shipyard in Medemblik, Netherlands, the Dutch Yachting Weekend demonstrates in the absence of major exhibitions how new thinking opens opportunity enabling visitors to view, tour and talk with exhibitors in a safe, controlled yet fun environment.

Representing the best of Dutch constructors and equipment suppliers, the on-water and open-air exhibition includes a fascinating spectrum of boat types and sizes, plus boat gear, accessories and services, and captivating expert seminars.

Craft on show include Contest Yachts, Saffier Yachts, Qnautic, KM Yachtbuilders, Jachtwerf Heeg, AdmiralsTender, Lekker Boats, Steeler and Long Island Yachts. Equipment suppliers span navigation equipment, sails, mast and deck fittings, insurance services, upholstery, and much more.

More information about the full and growing programme will be available from the beginning of June on www.dutchyachtingweekend.nl and on the websites of the participating shipyards.

The waterside location of Contest Yachts in Medemblik offers the perfect site for this event with the wide dockside and array of berths in front of the construction halls allowing ample spread between exhibited craft, while the large halls also offer plentiful, safe ventilated display space for equipment and seminar participation.

Naturally, the Dutch Yachting Weekend will be organised entirely in accordance with the RIVM (Dutch National Institute for Public Health & Environment) guidelines and entry is controlled.
