Mercury Marine is proud to announce that Brisbane Marine in Queensland has earned the title of Mercury Marine's Australian Dealer of the Year for 2020.

Brisbane Marine prides itself on being a one-stop marine experience offering sales of boats, outboard and sterndrive motors, trailers, finance, insurance and service to outboard and inboard engines on the northside of Brisbane.

The company underlined its all-rounder status by also taking out the MotorGuide National Dealer of the Year Award.

Mercury Marine's Director of Sales David Meehan said the awards were "thoroughly deserved".

"It's been a big year for the guys at Brisbane Marine who have continued to deliver outstanding service and support to their customers even with all the challenges that COVID-19 threw at them," he said.

"Our heartiest congratulations go to Troy and the team on their national recognition - it's certainly well deserved."

It was a big year for Queensland dealers, with Mackay-based Sugar City Marine taking out the 2020 Regional Dealer of the Year Award.

The New Zealand Dealer of the Year Award was taken out by Bays Boating in Motueka.

Will Sangster, Mercury Marine's Asia Pacific General Manager, said these results indicate an exciting future for the marine industry.

"We thank all of our dealer and boat builder partners for working with us, through what has been a challenging yet exciting period over the last year," he said.

"Our customers businesses are growing, and we are experiencing extraordinary demand with more boats than ever hitting the water powered by Mercury product. With so many consumers getting out and enjoying the water it's a very positive future for our industry."

Mercury's annual awards are based on a range of objective criteria including year-on-year growth across all product categories (Outboard, MerCruiser, Parts & Accessories), business diversity, service status and market share growth within their dealer district.
