With positive news the roadmap out of lockdown will reach stage 3 on 17th May 2021, Bassenthwaite Sailing Club is delighted to open entries for its first open event in 18 months, the Mirror open meeting and the GP14 Northern Area Championship, held on the 22/23 May.

Visitors and club members are invited to enter via webcollect by Wednesday 19th May, with early entry discount closing on Sunday 17th May. Visitors are welcome to camp on Friday and Saturday which must also be booked on webcollect.

No food/catering will be available from the club over the weekend. The aim is to have the bar open to provide drinks and light refreshments. There are numerous local food outlets and several Cockermouth takeaways deliver to the club.

Changing rooms will be open, but access will be limited via a tally system. All visitors and club members must adhere to local policy and restrictions with regards Covid19, including logging their visit each day via the club website, bassenthwaite-sc.org.uk.

That's all the serious stuff out of the way - we look forward to welcoming new and old visitors to the beautiful Lake District National Park and our first open meeting in 18 months!
