Southport Yacht Club is excited to welcome Qoin as the naming rights sponsor of the 2022 Sail Paradise Regatta. A partnership made up of two fresh, innovative, forward-thinking and forward-moving organisations that will bring together some of Australia's top sailing yachts and their crew.

The 12th season of Sail Paradise held in January this year has been lauded as the most successful yet, with whispers that 2022 will be an even bigger and better event. Skippers, crews, and spectators agree that the Gold Coast summertime buzz creates a vibrant, fun and competitive four days of sailing.

Qoins' National Sponsorship Executive, Michael Blackburn, says, "We are excited about the Regatta's next chapter. It has already proven to be a massive success over the last 12 years for the City of Gold Coast. And we are thrilled to continue our partnership with Southport Yacht Club and take this major event to the next level".

Southport Yacht Club's General Manager, Brett James, also agrees - "2022 Qoin Sail Paradise is going to our biggest yet. Preparations are well under way. We are looking forward to having our new 160-metre MegaYacht berth open, where the public can also come down to visit and see these magnificent ocean racing yachts up close. The support from Qoin and our community has been exceptional, and I also applaud the Gold Coast City Council for sharing and supporting our vision for our City. It is going to be an even bigger spectacular festival of bright coloured sails off our beaches this coming January, and we are all excited".

Southport Yacht Club will host several celebratory off-water events throughout the Regatta, including live entertainment, skippers and sponsors VIP events, plus much more.

2022 Qoin Sail Paradise is held from Monday 3rd to Thursday 6th January 2022.

Earlybird registrations are now open on the event website: www.sailparadise.com.au

The appeal of offshore
Is there still appeal? Have we made it too onerous? Why would someone take it up now? I had been pondering. Yes. Marquee events have no issue attracting entrants.
