by David Harding 6 May 2021 15:49 UTC 22-27 August 2021

Having had to take a year out in 2020, Poole Week is back this August!

Sponsored by Bournemouth Digital, Poole Week is one of the country's most popular sailing weeks for dinghies and small keelboats, offering friendly yet competitive racing, great social events and much more.

  • Afternoon racing in Poole Harbour around a wide range of courses set against the the backdrop of Brownsea Island, Sandbanks and the Purbecks

  • Class starts for Lasers and Laser Radials, RS200s and 400s, Merlin Rockets, Dart 18s, Wayfarers, Flying Fifteens, XODs, Dolphins and Cornish Shrimpers as well as fast and slow handicap fleets

  • Additional class starts for any class with 12 or more entries

  • Daily coaching by top coach and broadcaster Niall Myant-Best

  • Free meals for competitors on Sunday and Friday nights

  • Subsidised beer from Hall and Woodhouse throughout the week
Supported by Axent Embroidery and Badger Beers, Poole Week takes place in the heart of one of the south coast's leading resorts where there's lots to do for non-sailing friends and family members.

Enter by 31st May to qualify for the early-bird discount.

Accommodation is offered by some club members a short stroll from the dinghy park. Plenty more accommodation is also available locally.
