The highly anticipated Dufour 470will have its Asia Pacific launch at The Yacht Sales Co display of the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show in May.

The Yacht Sales Co sales manager Bob Vinks said there has been very strong interest in the new yacht, which is set to arrive in Australia in May.

"Dufour Yachts have an exceptional reputation throughout the world, and this new model has captured the attention of buyers as it delivers stunning design and superb performance in one perfect package," Bob said.

The Dufour 470 combines both Dufour's vast expertise and the brand's commitment to innovate, with its hull design and fluid deck layout delivering a sophisticated aesthetic and stunning performance.

The Dufour 470 is available in three versions, including an Easy version intended for owners and charterers in search of simplicity and comfort with an elegant layout that allows great mobility.

The Ocean version, which will be on display at Sanctuary Cove Boat Show, suits owners who wish for a more traditional movement plan with the sheets positioned on the coamings and the halyard and mainsail trolley handlings near the helm station. The Dufour 470 Performance version is ideal for those who love exhilarating performance and speed; with its six high-quality winches, clew at the rear of the cockpit, and its "Performance" equipment, this model is transformed into a pure racer.

Design innovations in the interior of the Dufour 470 allow for an optimum use of space to guarantee simple sailing while retaining very comfortable sleeping areas.

The Yacht Sales Co is the exclusive Australian dealer of Dufour Yachts and will be exhibiting at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show from 20 - 23 May with its sister company, Multihull Solutions.

The two companies, which represent the world's leading multihull and monohull brands, will be exhibiting some of the most popular sail and power models at the Gold Coast event.

Multihull Solutions will showcase the Fountaine Pajot Elba 45 sailing catamaran, the new MY5 power catamaran by Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts, and the stunning ILIAD 50 by ILIAD Catamarans.

Multihull Solutions and The Yacht Sales Co will also have an extensive range of pre-owned multihulls on display on the same weekend at their nearby Gold Coast Sales Centre located at The Boat Works.

The 32nd edition of the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) will feature more than 300 exhibitors, 500 boats of water and land, and attendance of more than 45,000 people over the four-day event.
